How Pilates Studios Can Create Content That Actually Attracts Clients

I recently worked with a Pilates studio in Clonmel Ryform Pilates to create a bank of content specifically for their social media and website. The goal wasn’t just to get a few nice shots of the space it was to create content that actually helps bring in new clients.

A lot of studios already know they should be posting more, but the real challenge is creating content that looks professional, feels authentic, and is easy to use consistently.

The Problem Most Pilates Studios Face

One thing I see a lot, especially with Pilates and fitness brands, is that content tends to be a bit inconsistent.

It’s usually:

  • Quick phone clips here and there

  • The odd post when there’s time

  • Content that doesn’t fully reflect the quality of the studio

The result is that online, the brand doesn’t always match the actual experience. And for new clients, that first impression is everything.

The Approach We Took

For this shoot, the focus was on creating content that the studio could use across Instagram, their website, and future promotions.

We broke it down into three main areas:

1) Experience-Led Content

Instead of just wide shots of the room, we focused on the feeling of a Pilates session.

Close-ups of movement, controlled breathing, instructor guidance, all the small details that show what it’s actually like to be there.

This is the kind of content that helps someone picture themselves in the class.

2) Short-Form Video for Social Media

We captured a series of short, vertical videos designed for Instagram Reels and TikTok.

These included:

  • Short movement flows

  • Instructor demonstrations

  • Calm, aesthetic clips that fit the Pilates style

The goal here was simple give the studio content they can post regularly without having to think about it each time.

3) Brand & Lifestyle Content

We also captured a mix of lifestyle-style visuals to show the overall atmosphere.

Things like:

  • Natural light in the studio

  • Clients moving through sessions

  • Clean, minimal setups

This type of content is important because it builds a strong visual identity and makes the brand feel more premium.

Why This Kind of Content Works

Good content does more than just fill up a feed it helps build trust.

For Pilates studios in particular, people want to know:

  • What the environment feels like

  • What the sessions look like

  • Whether it suits their level

When that’s communicated clearly through video and photography, it makes it much easier for someone to take the next step and book in.

It also:

  • Makes the brand look more professional

  • Creates consistency across social media

  • Gives content for ads and website use

Final Thoughts

This shoot was all about creating content that’s not just nice to look at, but actually useful for the business.

When done right, it takes the pressure off posting, improves how the brand is seen online, and ultimately helps bring in more clients.

If you’re running a Pilates or fitness studio and want to create content like this, feel free to get in touch.
