Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to the details you share with me through this website. Robert Ahearne Films is run by me, Robert Ahearne, from Limerick, Ireland. If you have a question about your information, email me at robert@robertahearne.ie.

What I collect

When you send an enquiry, the form asks for your names, email address, wedding date and venue or location. You can also tell me about your plans and how you found me; both are optional. If you email me directly, I receive whatever you include in your email.

How I use it

I use your details to reply to your enquiry, check my availability and send you my wedding film guide. If you book, I use them to plan your day with you and to deliver your films. I process them because you’ve asked me to and, if you book, to carry out our agreement.

Who else handles it

Framer hosts this website and its enquiry form, and passes your enquiry on to my email account, which is provided by Google Workspace. Films on this site play through Vimeo, and the site’s fonts load from Google Fonts; these services receive technical details from your browser, such as your IP address, when a page loads. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, under their own safeguards.

Cookies and visitor statistics

This website doesn’t set its own cookies. Framer’s built-in visitor statistics are anonymous and don’t use cookies. When a film page loads or a film plays, Vimeo may set its own cookies; these are covered by Vimeo’s privacy policy.

How long I keep it

I keep your details only for as long as I need them: to reply to your enquiry and, if you book, to deliver your films and keep the business records I’m required to keep. After that, I delete them.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the details I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete them, or object to how I use them, by emailing robert@robertahearne.ie. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
